1. Quick Summary

This page is a short-form summary of how Finqt LLC-FZ handles personal data in the finqt app. It is intended to be easier to read than our full Privacy Policy, but it does not replace that Policy.

Finqt LLC-FZ is established in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For privacy, legal, or data-rights questions, contact [email protected].

2. What We Collect

Depending on the features you use, we may process:

  • account details such as your email address, display name, account ID, login method, and profile image
  • onboarding and preference data such as language, risk preferences, market interests, and notification choices
  • user content such as watchlists, alerts, bookmarks, notes, rules, moods, tags, uploaded images, support requests, and feature requests
  • AI prompts, messages, conversation metadata, uploaded chart images, token usage, and credit-consumption records (including AI feature type and credits deducted per request)
  • subscription tier (Free, Pro, or Pro+), billing cycle, subscription and purchased credit balances, purchase, restore, refund, and entitlement records received from platform billing systems
  • device, session, security, notification-token, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the app

Some security functions, such as biometric matching, are handled by your device operating system rather than our own systems.

We generally do not ask you to provide full payment-card numbers, government ID numbers, passport details, health records, or precise location in the ordinary course. If you place that information into notes, support requests, or AI prompts, we may still process it to the extent technically necessary to store, transmit, review, secure, or respond to the content you submitted.

3. Why We Use Data

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure your account
  • operate core app features such as watchlists, alerts, notes, and synced settings
  • provide AI responses and image-analysis features that you request
  • verify subscriptions and credit top-ups, apply entitlements, and handle support issues
  • send notifications, security alerts, and service messages
  • troubleshoot bugs, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and enforce our rules
  • comply with legal obligations and protect users, Finqt, and the Services

We also use limited operational data to investigate abuse, resolve entitlement and refund disputes, manage security incidents, maintain audit trails, and enforce legal and platform requirements.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share data only where reasonably necessary to run the Services or comply with law. Depending on the feature, this may include:

  • Apple, for App Store billing, restore flows, Sign in with Apple, and push notifications
  • Google, including Google sign-in services and Google Gemini or related AI processing for AI features
  • market-data providers and public-market data sources needed to power charts, prices, and context
  • infrastructure, security, storage, diagnostics, support, and communication providers
  • regulators, authorities, courts, advisers, or transaction counterparties when legally required or reasonably necessary

We do not sell your personal data for money in the ordinary sense.

Access is also limited internally to people who reasonably need the data for support, security, engineering, finance, legal, or compliance work. Some providers may receive technical request data such as device metadata or IP address as part of delivering the function you asked us to perform.

5. Tracking and Advertising Summary

The iOS app may request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before enabling advertising attribution or more relevant sponsored content where available. Any such processing depends on your permission status, consent choices, and the disclosures active when you use the feature.

The app may still use essential identifiers, secure tokens, caches, and notification tokens needed for core functionality and security.

Optional analytics, diagnostics, or similar technologies may depend on your jurisdiction, your consent state, and the feature configuration active at the time you use the Services.

6. Your Controls and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • access your personal data
  • correct inaccurate information
  • request deletion
  • object to or restrict certain processing
  • withdraw consent where processing depends on consent
  • request a portable copy of certain data

You may also control some features through account settings, notification settings, and device permissions.

For rights requests that are not available in-product, contact [email protected].

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some requests may be limited or denied where law allows, including where retention is still required for security, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.

7. Retention and International Transfers

We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including security, billing, legal, and operational needs.

We operate from the UAE and may process or store data in other countries where we or our providers operate. We use measures designed to protect transferred data, but different countries may provide different legal protections.

Deletion requests may not remove data immediately from all live systems, backups, caches, or security logs. We may retain limited information after account closure where reasonably necessary to document compliance, prevent fraud, defend claims, or complete ongoing technical retention cycles.

If you want the complete detail about categories, legal bases, sharing, and regional notices, read our full Privacy Policy together with this summary.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have knowingly collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take appropriate action to disable or delete that data subject to applicable law.
